It's neutral... The resulting weld strength returned by the spreadsheet is a NOMINAL value. Meaning, it is neither ASD nor LRFD.
DeleteIf you want an LRFD value, just multiply the Nominal Weld Strength by Ï•=0.75.
Alternately, if you want an ASD value, just divide the Nominal Weld Strength by Ω=2.
